Preferred Skills and Requirements: This position will be responsible for activities spanning the entire software life cycle including but not limited to planning, design, development and testing
*Understand the product requirements in detail and detailed control software engineering with functional, interface and hardware specifications
*Responsible for developing controls software for motion controllers, PLC and other real time controller platforms used in automation equipment’s built by the organization
*Experience in designing and developing software using a higher level language such as C, C++, Visual Basic or Java. Experience in real time application is preferred.
*Hands on experience in Motion controllers such as TRIO, Galil, OMRON, CK3M/CK5M, Delta etc.
*Must have a good knowledge of different industrial communication networks such as Profinet, ProfiBus, RS-232, RS-485, EatherCAT, Ethernet IP etc
*Development of software requirements specifications, software version descriptions, and user manuals for various software products produced.
*Work in a cross-functional team of Product designers and product testing team for validation and prove out of the equipment’s. Carryout software implementation changes, software testing and resolution of issues arising during the equipment validation
*Follow software design standards including abstraction, design patterns, and change control
*Thoroughly document software design, execution, and end-user instructions.
*Manage and maintain software version repository, version documentation, bug tracking and fixes
